Lactation Consultants can provide loving and effective support when breastfeeding mothers need it most. Breast is best but many women have difficulties, especially at the beginning. Most troubles with breastfeeding can be overcome with proper care. Our experienced consultants can help you solve your breastfeeding problems and coordinate with your doctor to ensure a positive breastfeeding experience. They can instill the confidence and calm that you need to have a “Love Fest” at the breast.
One of our lactation consultants will meet you at your home or our office. We collect you and your baby’s medical histories, assess each of you individually during a feeding to determine what is causing your issues. Together we develop a feeding plan that will work for you, and provide on-going support.
All of our consultants are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants with medical backgrounds. We are contracted with the following insurances: Aetna PPO, Scripps Health Comp, and Tri Care Standard.
For other plans we can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance company. Coverage is based on your individual plan with your health insurance company. We will help with billing but cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover your care. Please call your insurance carrier and check to see what your coverage is and if you need pre-authorization. We also accept other payment options.
For Immediate Assistance call our office directly at 844-413-3040. Someone is available 24 hrs a day to answer your call.

Hi Vicki, I am not sure you will remember us, but we just wanted to let you know that our Theo is doing great! Soon after we arrived in Austin (as you predicted, right around his due date) we were able to wean him off the tube and nipple shield, and he has been nursing regularly ever since! He’s been steadily gaining weight and is now over 9.5 lbs. Thank you again for all your help – we couldn’t have done it without you!”
